Brookies

What do you do when you just can’t decide between a brownie and a cookie? You make Brookies! For the uninitiated, the brookie is a layered cookie-brownie hybrid. The bottom layer is a rich, dark, brownie and the top layer is a chewy chocolate chip cookie. These are utterly indulgent and delicious!

This is one of my favorite recipes and it couldn't be easier to make! Simply whip up your brownie batter and the easiest, buttery cookie dough and bake them together! However, this recipe makes sure that the brookies are not overly sweet or incredibly fudgy. They have a nice balance of both flavor and texture.

Make these for your family and it will definitely help settle the battle of which to eat, cookies or brownies? Just have Brookies! Always have both if you can have both.
