The textures and flavors work perfectly, creating a magical sensation for your taste buds. It truly is an exquisite dessert.

The name sticky toffee pudding comes from it's three main components. Dates for been 'Sticky', 'Toffee' for the butterscotch sauce and finally 'Pudding' for the vanilla custard served beside it. It is also easy to prepare and there is no hassle with finding equipment to steam in. It is made simply by using your oven. So let's get baking!

Will it still work if we steam instead of baking?
You can steam this recipe without a problem if you want authenticity.
Are there any other substitutes for the brown sugar?
You can use treacle honey, jaggery, or even a muscovado sugar instead of brown sugar. But the quantity of dry ingredients might need to be altered if you are using a liquid sugar.
